Mary's birth is not registered, in the 1851 census her age is given as 8 months, her sister Margaret is listed as being 4. In the 1861 census Mary's age is 14 and Margaret 11. I think Mary and Margaret were mixed up in the 1841 census, Mary was probably4 and Margaret was 8 months.
